Be honest with yourself:
* Do you feel guilty when you say “no” to a legitimate request?
* Do you regularly feel exhausted by your packed schedule?
* Do you try to please everyone but yourself, though you know better?
If you answered “yes” to one or more of those questions, this fun and practical session is for you! It addresses the issue of setting limits and protecting our time. How can we help our clients clear the clutter from their schedules if we don't model it ourselves?
You'll learn the “Speak Up” Philosophy as a model for communicating assertively at work and home. The only way to take control of your time—and your LIFE—is to say “no” to some things so you can say “yes!” to what you truly want.
When you can set limits professionally and successfully, you can share these strategies with your clients. Nice people DO speak up for themselves. They just do it nicely. Come to this session to learn their secrets. Expect to get involved and practice speaking up!
