Something Is Off—Abuse and Neglect Reporting For Professional Organizers is a presentation that helps organizers decide when to reach out for state assistance in working with a client. Detailed information covering the warning signs of compromised safety situations as well as various reporting methods and expected aftermath / outcomes are included in this interactive 45-minute PowerPoint slideshow. Photographs, video demonstrations and a Q&A with a subject matter expert will be provided.
Jennifer Ballow is a licensed master level social worker & holds a degree from the University of Texas at Austin. She has direct experience serving older adults & their families as a geriatric care manager & has also served individuals with disabilities developing person-centered practices at the state of Texas Health and Human Services Commission. She has served on the board of several Austin area non profits as a fundraiser, event organizer and parent-co-chair. Devoted mother, Jennifer loves to spend time with her twin daughters as well as manage a family business based on therapeutic nature recordings.
